Our favourite Christmas tradition at Scoil Tighearnach Naofa! This Christmas our school put together 81 boxes for the Team Hope Christmas Shoebox appeal. Team Hope delivers gifts straight into the hands of children in Africa that are affected by poverty. Since 2010, they have delivered 2.5 million shoeboxes to vulnerable children across the world.

There was great excitement today as we welcomed Ireland, Munster and Lions legend, Paul O'Connell and current Leinter player and Irish Rugby International, Linda Djougang, to our school! This exciting day was all thanks to the artistic skills of 4th class' Kyle Whelan, who won the ALDI Rooting for Ireland colouring competition.

Our girls made it to the final of the Cumann ns mBunscol Division 1 Camogie Championship, where they met Castletown National School. The girls played their hearts out, but it was not to be this year. We are so proud of each and every one of you!

Well done to our table quiz teams who represented our school in the St. Canice's Credit Union Table quiz competition in Kilkenny. Special congratulations to our u11 team who finished in 3rd place, only one point behind the top 2 teams who ended up in a tie breaker!
